The beginning
It all begins with wood
Every frame starts right here in our studio. We prep the wood ourselves. We cut each piece to size, sand it smooth, and assemble it into a frame. By the time color touches it, it has already passed through our hands several times.
Painting
Adding colors to the frames
Okay, this is where the fun part begins! The plain wood is ready, the spray gun is warmed up, and the studio is about to get a lot more colorful.
Choosing the right paint is a big deal for us. We go with water-based paints because they are friendlier to the planet, and they still give us bold, vibrant shades that pop. Then comes our favorite moment. The spray gun glides across the frame and lays down color in a smooth, even mist, with no brush marks and nothing left to chance.
But we don't stop at pretty. Once the color is on, we finish each frame with a protective coat to lock it in, so your frame keeps its bright personality and stays tough through everyday life on your wall.
The finish
Protecting the frames
A solid coat of color looks great, but we're not finished yet! Next comes a transparent coat, also water-based, that goes over the color like a clear glaze. It makes the shade look richer and more vibrant, so the color really sings.
And that's not all. This clear layer also guards the paint underneath, helping your frame stay fresh and bright for years to come.
All set and done!
Packing for delivery
We pack every order with care, because a happy frame should arrive happy! Each piece, whether it’s the frame, matboard, backboard, or acrylic glass, is wrapped individually in wrapping paper. Then everything is snuggled into honeycomb paper and bubble wrap, so it’s cushioned and protected all the way to your door.
You can open your package knowing every piece is ready to be framed and enjoyed.
